To apply for a scholarship, please follow the steps outlined below.

TYPES OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
This scholarship provides funding for students engaged in research to cover essential expenses. Eligible costs include materials, equipment, software, and other resources critical to conducting high-quality research. This support ensures that students have the tools they need to pursue innovative projects and contribute to their field.
Scholarships are available to support students who need to travel for academic purposes, such as attending conferences, presenting research, or participating in other educational activities. These funds help cover travel-related costs, ensuring that students can engage in opportunities that enhance their learning and professional growth.
Designed for students facing unexpected financial hardships, this scholarship provides emergency funding to prevent disruptions to their education. Whether it’s an unforeseen expense or a sudden financial crisis, this support ensures that students can continue their studies without interruption, maintaining their academic progress.
Students who are enrolled at the School of Education & Human Development and have completed at least one semester.
Deadlines for Travel Expenses Scholarship. There are no deadlines for Emergency Support and Research Expenses scholarships.

You will receive an email notification to your UM email from SOEgradenrollment@miami.edu within two weeks of applying.
